COMMUNICATIONS PREFERENCES

STAYING IN TOUCH WITH THAME YOUTH PROJECTS We know your inbox is busy! Here's how we communicate with parents and how you can manage what you receive. GENERAL UPDATES (You can opt out) These include: - Monthly newsletters - Holiday activity programmes - Fundraising appeals - Event invitations and social media updates → To stop receiving these: Email admin@thameyouthprojects.org.uk with "opt out of general updates" ESSENTIAL UPDATES (Required if your child attends term-time sessions) If your child is registered for Youth Café or Youth Zone, we need to send you important information including: - Changes to policies or consent requirements - Session cancellations, timing or venue changes - Urgent safety or safeguarding notices - Updates affecting your child's participation Why we send these: Under our safeguarding responsibilities, we must be able to contact parents of young people using our term-time provision. These aren't marketing emails – they're essential for keeping your child safe and informed. You cannot opt out of essential updates while your child has an active registration. IF YOU WISH TO STOP ALL CONTACT If you don't want to receive any updates (including essential ones), we'll need to close your child's registration. This means: - They cannot attend Youth Café or Youth Zone sessions - Their information will be archived - You'll be removed from all communications → To close registration: Email admin@thameyouthprojects.org.uk requesting to "archive [child's name]'s registration" QUESTIONS? We're happy to discuss your communication preferences. Contact us: - Email: admin@thameyouthprojects.org.uk - Phone: 07961710558 - Drop in during Youth Café sessions Thank you for supporting our work with young people in Thame.
