We’re delighted to share some exciting news at Thame Youth Projects. Thanks to generous funding from Friends of Thame Hospital, we have been able to recruit an additional youth worker to help support the young people in our community.
We are thrilled to officially welcome Michelle to the team.
Michelle is already a familiar face at Thame Youth Projects, having volunteered with us for the past 15 months. During that time, she has shown real dedication, kindness and enthusiasm while building strong relationships with the young people who attend our sessions.

Alongside volunteering, Michelle has also been working hard towards her Level 3 Diploma in Youth Work, which she has now successfully achieved.

“I’m excited to be stepping into a new role as a part-time youth worker at Thame Youth Projects. I’ve been volunteering here for the past 15 months, so it already feels like a place close to my heart. During that time, I’ve been working towards my Level 3 Diploma in Youth Work, which I’ve now achieved. I’m passionate about creating a safe, welcoming space where young people can be themselves, build confidence, and have fun. I’m really looking forward to continuing to support and get to know everyone as part of this amazing team.”
We are so pleased Michelle is joining us in this new capacity. Her experience, warmth and commitment will make a real difference, and we know she will be a fantastic support for the young people we work with.
Thank you again to Friends of Thame Hospital for making this possible through their valued funding and continued support.
