Youth Centre 2022

About Us

Thame Youth Projects is a group of engaged volunteers, that in September 2019 employed a full-time youth worker. We exist with the express aim of supporting the young people of Thame.

We meet on a regular basis and also communicate with the town council, school and other interested parties to ensure that the work we are doing is focussed in the right areas and we are able to support as many young people as possible.

To enable maximum participation all the work we do is at zero-cost to the young people. Our projects are entirely dependent upon grant-funding, donations and voluntary contributions. If you'd be interested in supporting us please get in touch via our contact us page, or to find out more about the work we are doing look on our projects page.

Looking for Help?

Thame Youth Projects seek to provide young people with the support they need, no matter what it is. We are always here to talk and can arrange COVID-safe one-to-ones if you need someone to talk to. Sometimes though, it’s easier to talk to someone you don’t know. There is lots of support out there and all of the services in this section are offering some support during COVID.

If you were looking for help on something not covered in this section, please contact us and we will help you find the support or information you were looking for.

One of the key objectives for us is to not charge any money for any of our services. We want our work to be open to as many young people as possible, and charging money places restrictions on that.

However, we do incur costs for what we do. We have a number of ways that people can help support us financially.

You can make a donation to support the work of Thame Youth Projects:

By telephone or internet banking direct to our bank account:

  • Sort Code: 60-21-21

Volunteers are key to all that we are trying to achieve in our work. Without them we simply wouldn't be able to do all that we do.

We are always on the look out for new volunteers. If you think you could help, in whatever way possible, please fill in the below form. We provide all volunteers with safeguarding training and carry out all necessary reference and DBS checks

The following individuals, organisations or groups have all contributed in some way to the running of Thame Youth Projects. As a charity we are incredibly grateful for their support. If you would like to become one of our supporters please get in touch.
